Luis Henriquez joined Bolet & Terrero as a partner in 2021, having been a founding partner of MHOV Abogados in 2006 and where he worked until 2021. For 20 years Luis has worked with multinational businesses and corporations protecting and defending their trademarks, patents, and other intellectual property assets in Venezuela and abroad. He has also negotiated and drafted every type of agreement related to intellectual property rights.

Since 2012 Luis has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Interamerican Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI). As a key member of ASIPI he has developed close relationships with other international associations such as the European Community Trademark Association (ECTA), the International Trademark Association (INTA), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), among other organizations, as well as national IP offices in the region, with which he has led various projects and activities promoting and defending intellectual property in Latin America. Luis is a member of INTA’s Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee and member of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Venezuelan-American Chamber of Commerce (Venamcham).
