Mar\u00eda Auxiliadora Jurado joined the firm in 1996, working in the Trademark Department in all matters related to applications, office actions, background searches and registrability criteria. In 1998, she was appointed Head of the Litigation Department where she handled all matters related to opposition, reconsideration and hierarchical appeals; two years later she assumed the direction of the Reports Department, where she supervised and managed the issuance of Certificates of Registration, Industrial Property Bulletin publications and the granting of trademarks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Since 2007, she has been Head of the Transfers and Renewals Department, specializing in the structuring and drafting of license agreements, assignment of rights, affidavits, name changes and all matters related to trademark renewals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prior to joining the firm, Jurado accumulated seven years of experience in a well-known multinational food company, coordinating brand management.
