Experience
Rafael Ortin joined Bolet & Terrero as a partner in 2021, after being a founding partner of MHOV Abogados, where he worked from 2006 to 2021. Since 1993 he has dedicated his professional life to Industrial Law, being founder of the Venezuelan National Directorate of Copyright (1994-1995), then in charge of the Intellectual Property and Entertainment area of the multinational Grupo Cisneros 1998-2006 to later become partner of the law firm specialised in Intellectual Property MHOV Abogados. Since 1993, he has been collaborating with national companies and multinational corporations linked to the telecommunications, entertainment and sports, mass consumption and technology industries, among others, for the protection, defence and generation of value of their intangible assets. He has always mixed his professional expertise with university teaching and consultancy through different national and international organisations in the area of intangible assets.
