Luis Henriquez joined Bolet & Terrero as a partner in 2021, after being a founding partner of MHOV Abogados where he worked from 2006 to 2021. During the last 20 years he has collaborated with multinational companies and corporations in the protection and defence of their trademarks, patents and other intellectual property assets in Venezuela and abroad. He has also negotiated and drafted all types of agreements involving intellectual property assets.
Since 2012 he has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Interamerican Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI). As a key member of ASIPI he has developed close relationships with other international associations such as ECTA (European Community Trademark Association), INTA (International Trademark Association) and WIPO (Word Intellectual Property Organization), among other organisations, as well as with Intellectual Property offices in the region, with whom he has led various projects and activities to promote and defend Intellectual Property in Latin America. He is a member of the Famous Trademarks Committee of INTA and a member of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Venezuelan-American Chamber of Commerce (Venamcham).
